Den Kopf halt kühl… Liege aus Glasfiberlaminat
Relaxmöbel sollten in erster Linie ein Maximum an Bequemlichkeit bieten. Damit dies gelingt, muss die Liegefläche ergonomisch perfekt gestaltet sein. Bei der Liege ‚O2’ besteht die 22 Millimeter starke, gewölbte Liegefläche, eine Sandwichkonstruktion, aus 13 Schichten hochbelastbarem Glasfiberlaminat, einem Material, das normalerweise im Flugzeug- und Schiffsbau Verwendung findet. Die Gestaltung ist auf das Wesentliche reduziert, alles ist leicht und funktional. Da passt es gut ins Bild, dass die Verbindungen von Gestell und Liege als sichtbare Details gestaltet wurden. Der Nutzer ruht entspannt in einer ausgestreckten Position. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist allerdings die Aussparung im oberen Bereich der Liegefläche mit dem „Kopfpolster“ aus Polyurethanschaum.
Primarily, relaxation furniture ought to offer a maximum of comfort. To achieve this, the top should be ergonomically perfect. The “O2” daybed model feature a 22mm thick curved top, which is a sandwich structure made up of 13 layers of sturdy fibreglass laminate such as is usually applied in aircraft construction or shipbuilding. Its design is reduced to the barest essentials, everything being lightweight and functional. Which also does for the framework. So it´s obviously just as well that joints between the framework and the top should have been designed as visible details. The user does indeed rest relaxingly in a stretched out position. Albeit that it´ll probably take some time to get used to the hole at the upper end of the top which is meant to be a “head bolster” adequately softened by foamed polyurethane.
Les meubles de relaxation devraient offrir en premier lieu un maximum de confort. Pour que cela réussisse, il faut que la conception du plan de couchage soit ergonomiquement parfaite. Galbé et épais de 22 millimètres, le plan de couchage du divan `O2´est une construction sandwich compose de treize couches de stratifié à fibres de verre à haute capacité de charge,l un matériau normalement employé pour la construction aéronautique et navale. La configuration est réduite à l´essentiel, tout est léger et fonctionnel, ce qui est également le cas pour le piètement. Les assemblages du piètement et du plan de counchage realises comme details visibles s´intègrent bein dans la conception générale. L´utilisateur repose détendu en position allongée étirée. Il faut néanmoins s´habituer à l´évidement réalisé dans la partie supérieure du plan de couchage, avec son (oreiller) en mousse de polyurethane.
